This peaceful song features voice with a loosely connected set of percussion, bass and other sounds (some reversed!). I feel like I’m continuing to make good progress with the openness of my mixes, and I’m also getting more comfortable using my voice. As a bonus, a nice sounding Glencairn whiskey glass makes an appearance. Enjoy!
This is, perhaps, the best sounding song featuring a travel coffee mug you’ve ever heard. I’m using my new MOTU 8M audio interface, a Shure SM57 microphone, a CloudLifter “Mic Activator”, and a coffee mug with the lid removed. It’s a Contigo. I bought it at Costco. It came in a two pack, so I can play one while drinking out of the other. I’m drinking Portland Roasting lately — black and tasty, like this song. Cheers!
